Welcome to Himbleton Church of England First School and thank you for visiting our website. Our site has been designed with Parents, Staff, Governors, and most importantly, our children in mind. We hope that you will find our online presence useful in giving you information about the school as well as an insight in to the daily life of everyone here at Himbleton.
Himbleton Church of England First School is a forward thinking village school, with a heart for the local community; we are small, friendly and unique. We are very proud of our recent Collaboration with the Pinvin Federation of schools and we would like to feel that we offer a secure, inclusive and caring environment where everyone is valued and respected as part of a learning community. At the heart of what we do is a commitment for all our pupils to have the opportunity to excel, attain their very best and have the opportunity to fulfil their ambitions. We offer a pathway that continues through to St Nicholas Middle School, our partner school, who share the same ethos and approach.
We believe that everyone in school should enjoy learning and feel proud of their achievements. To fulfil this, we provide a curriculum which aims to be engaging and purposeful and one which is underpinned by high expectations and opportunity. Our goal is to prepare every child so that they can make a positive contribution to the society in which they live and develop character for life.
We strongly value the relationship we have with our parents, stakeholders and members of the community. We recognise that effective partnerships are essential in ensuring that we do the very best for our pupils and that it is a team approach. We appreciate and value the support our parents and stakeholders give us and the role they play in enriching our children's experiences and supporting the education we provide.
The purpose of this website is to inform current and prospective parents about the life of our school; its vision, ethos, aims and values. There are links to letters, newsletters, policies and other relevant information.
We hope the site will be informative and provide you with all the information that you need. Please contact us if you require any further information or if you would like to visit.
